TEENS FOR CHANGE COALITION (TCC) YULEE HIGH SCHOOL
We are a group of teens dedicated to making a positive change in Nassau County
Teens for Change is an organization for the students run by the students. We pride ourselves in providing a safe environment for teens to help reduce the activities of at-risk behaviors. As our mission statement declares, we are a group of teens dedicated to creating a positive change in Nassau County. Some of the ways we have provided this is through hosting a movie night. We were able to obtain a large blow up screen in which we allowed students to come and see a movie. Not only did we provide a safe environment, but a place where teens can come and socialize with others without taking part in illegal activities. Another aspect of Teens for Change is our community outreach. We have also served our community through the humane society. Through the course of the school year we strive to volunteer weekly at our local humane society in helping them to walk the dogs. With the new school year under way we are excited to continue our previous activities well as beginning a new project for the teens of Nassau County.
